I'm finished a M.S. in Software Engineering at ISISTAN Research Institute, June 2000 (U.N.C.P.B.A., Tandil - Buenos Aires - Argentina), thesis subject: "Framework for Multi-agent Systems based on Composition" (FraMaS abstract). I'm graduate in Computer Science at South National University, September 1997 (Bahía Blanca - Buenos Aires - Argentina). I have had a research grant from CONICET to work at ISISTAN and IEI-CNR. Research area: "Machine Learning for Automated Web Page Categorization". Before that I was teaching at Comahue National University (UNC).

I'm working in the CASPAR project at ISTI-CNR.

Research Interest

Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Hierarchical Text Categorization, Digital Libraries. Grid technologies. Multi-Agents Systems, software reuse, frameworks, specifically design and code's reuse, Java.

Profile Summary

Master in Software Engineering. BSc in Computer Science. Cross disciplines in software engineering, multi-agent systems and object-oriented frameworks. Specialization in software reuse techniques and object oriented-design. Research on machine learning techniques, case-based reasoning (CBR). Ongoing research in information retrieval and text categorization, with particular regard to hierarchical text categorization. Programming experience in Java, Perl, C/C++ on Mac, Unix and Windows operating systems.
